Pipeline Required Fields

Require deal fields to be filled before advancing to certain pipeline stages.

Overview

Pipeline stage required fields let you enforce data quality as deals progress. For example, you can require that estimated MRR and expected close date are set before a deal can move to "Proposal Sent."

How It Works

Each pipeline stage can have a list of required deal fields. When a rep tries to move a deal to that stage, the system checks that all required fields have values. If any are missing, the move is blocked with a clear error message listing the missing fields.

Available Fields

Common fields to require: estimatedMrr, expectedCloseDate, ownerId, probability. The field names match the deal data model.
