Engagement Scoring

Understand how engaged each account is based on activity frequency.

Overview

The engagement score (0-100) measures how actively you're communicating with an account based on the last 90 days of activity. It complements the health score — an account can be healthy (no issues) but cold (no recent engagement).

How It's Calculated

  • Activity Volume (60%) — total touchpoints, synced emails, and calendar events in the last 90 days, normalized against a baseline of 12 activities (roughly 1 per week)
  • Recency (25%) — how recently the last activity occurred (within 7 days = 100, within 14 = 80, 30 = 60, 60 = 30, older = 10)
  • Bi-directionality (15%) — bonus for inbound activity (the contact reaching out to you)

Score Ranges

  • 70-100 (green) — Engaged: regular, recent, two-way communication
  • 40-69 (amber) — Moderate: some activity but could be stronger
  • 0-39 (red) — Cold: little or no recent engagement
