Custom Report Builder

Build your own reports with custom metrics, filters, and visualizations.

Overview

The custom report builder lets you create reports beyond the pre-built ones. Choose a data source, define metrics, add filters, select a visualization type, and preview the results before saving.

Building a Report

  1. Data Source — Choose: Accounts, Deals, Contracts, or Contacts
  2. Metrics — Add one or more metrics. Each has a field, aggregation (Count, Sum, Average, Min, Max), and label. Text fields only support Count; numeric fields support all aggregations.
  3. Group By — Optionally group results by a field (e.g. group accounts by industry, deals by stage)
  4. Visualization — Choose Table, Bar chart, Line chart, or Pie chart
  5. Preview — Click Preview to run the query and see results before saving
  6. Save — Give your report a name and save it

Accessing the Builder

Go to Reports and click "Build Custom Report" at the top of the page. Saved custom reports appear alongside the pre-built reports.
