Email Templates

Create reusable email templates with personalization tokens.

Overview

Email templates let you save frequently used emails with dynamic personalization tokens that auto-fill with real data when you send. Templates are available anywhere you compose an email in Breadbox.

Creating a Template

Go to Settings → Email Templates and click New Template. Fill in:

  • Template Name — for your reference (e.g. "Intro Email", "QBR Follow-up")
  • Category — optional grouping (Sales, Account Management, Onboarding, etc.)
  • Subject Line — supports personalization tokens
  • Body — the email content, supports personalization tokens

Personalization Tokens

Insert these tokens in your subject or body — they are replaced with real data when you send:

TokenReplaced With
{{contact.firstName}}Contact's first name
{{contact.lastName}}Contact's last name
{{contact.fullName}}Contact's full name
{{account.name}}Account/company name
{{account.industry}}Account industry
{{deal.name}}Deal name
{{sender.firstName}}Your first name
{{sender.fullName}}Your full name

Using a Template

When composing an email anywhere in Breadbox, click the Templates dropdown in the compose toolbar. Select a template and the subject + body will auto-fill with tokens replaced using the current context (contact name, account name, etc.).

Connected Email Accounts

If you've connected Google or Microsoft in Settings → Profile, emails sent from the compose modal are delivered through your real inbox (Gmail or Outlook). The recipient sees the email as coming from you, and it appears in your sent folder. If no account is connected, emails are sent via the system email service.

Usage Stats on the Settings Page

Each template row shows how many times it's been used and when it was last used — so you can see at a glance which templates are pulling their weight and which are dead weight. Most-used templates bubble to the top of the list automatically.

Save an Email as a Template After Sending

After you send an email that you didn't start from a template, the compose modal shows a “Save this as a template?” prompt. Give it a name, optionally pick a category, and hit Save — the email (with your token placeholders intact if you used any) becomes a reusable template. Quick way to build your library without going to the settings page.

MSP Branding on Templated Emails

Each template has an “Include your MSP branding” checkbox. When checked AND you have a logo uploaded in Email Branding, sending from this template prepends a header with your logo to the email body. Defaults on for new templates — uncheck for plain-text templates or when you don't want a branded header. One-off emails composed without a template never get branding injected.
